Registered Nurse - ER

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with ER experience to join our team in a busy emergency department. The candidate will be responsible for providing care to a range of patient types, including trauma and cardiac cases, and must be comfortable with evidence collection in sexual assault cases.

Responsibilities:

• Administer care to patients in a high-volume emergency department.
• Perform assessments and prioritize care based on patient needs.
• Engage in evidence collection as part of the sexual assault response team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required; travel experience is excluded.
• Valid RN license from the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS required; CPI or MAB/MOAB preferred.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system is preferred.
• Expected to float within scope of practice to Med/Surg, PCU, or ICU.

Shift: 12 Hour Variable, 3x12 Flex, 07:00:00-19:00:00

Contract Length: 15 weeks
