Role:
Travel Stepdown RN
Responsibilities:Provide specialized care for patients transitioning from intensive care, including monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications, assisting with cardiac procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care. Maintain patient safety, document assessments, respond to emergencies, and educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications.
Qualifications & Skills- Minimum one year recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
- Proficiency in English, PC skills, and visual acuity
Monitor telemetry data, respond to cardiac emergencies, prepare equipment, record patient conditions, perform patient education, and ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
