Are you a technical leader who is passionate about quality, continuous improvement, and helping teams achieve excellence? We are seeking a Supervisor
- Quality Control
to lead our quality assurance and testing programs across South Dakota and Northern Wyoming.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring our industrial minerals, construction aggregates, ready-mix concrete, and precast concrete products consistently meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and compliance. As the leader of our quality team, you will oversee laboratory operations, support technical problem-solving, guide certification and regulatory compliance efforts, and collaborate with operations, sales, and product development teams to deliver exceptional products and customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a leader who can combine technical knowledge, operational insight, and people leadership to drive quality excellence throughout the organization.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Geology, Chemistry, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in quality assurance, technical services, compliance, operations, or sales within the industrial minerals, aggregates, concrete, construction materials, or related industries
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably supporting multiple locations or teams
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Professional certifications such as ACI, PCI, ASTM, or similar credentials preferred
  • Hands-on experience with materials testing, quality control programs, laboratory operations, or field-testing environments

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead quality control laboratories and a team of laboratory and field technicians
  • Foster a culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure products consistently meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
  • Oversee testing programs, sample management, reporting, and quality documentation
  • Manage compliance with certification programs including PCI, ACI, AASHTO, NSF 60, and customer-specific requirements
  • Lead certification audits, regulatory inspections, and renewal processes
  • Serve as the company's primary technical resource for industrial minerals, aggregates, and concrete performance
  • Direct technical investigations, corrective actions, and process improvement initiatives
  • Support research and development efforts through testing, analysis, and technical expertise
  • Partner with operations, sales, and marketing teams to ensure product performance and customer satisfaction
