Research Scientist, Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Responsibilities
A postdoctoral researcher will conduct research on germanium‑based science and technology, including laboratory testing and characterization of germanium detectors, developing advanced Monte Carlo models and AI‑driven analysis tools to optimize detector response, and contributing to precision medical imaging, low‑energy dark‑matter searches, and neutrino experiments.
Qualifications- Ph.D. in experimental nuclear or particle physics (or equivalent).
- Experience with gamma‑ray spectroscopy, germanium detectors and related applications.
- Proficiency with GEANT4 simulations.
- Strong C++ programming skills.
- Additional experience in Monte Carlo modeling and AI‑driven data analysis is highly preferred.
