  • Saturday: 12:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Sunday: 12:00 AM – 12:00 PM
What You’ll Do
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicle activity, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports on incidents, patrol activities, and/or maintenance or operational concerns that could affect the location.
Minimum Requirements
  • Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Possess an armed guard card/license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
