Senior Security Officer

STARTING HOURLY RATE : Minimum of $19.52 hourly, depending upon education and experience, GE

Serves under the Chief as lead worker to Public Safety personnel to maintain security and safety of student, faculty, staff, and all campus areas. Assist with scheduling and supervision of the safety department; enforce parking and traffic regulations; patrol buildings and special events and respond to emergency situations and alarms; prepare reports and maintain records; monitor building conditions using electronic control equipment;

conduct investigations and apply law enforcement measures; train new employees; assist and direct students, staff, and public with general information; and other duties as assigned.

Evening, weekend and holiday work required. Driver’s license is also required.
