DescriptionTele Solv is seeking an experienced Security Administration Manager (SAM) to support a Government security program. The selected professional will research, interpret, analyze, and apply security guidance; administer personnel security processes; manage security clearances; maintain security databases and records; and implement security plans and procedures that support operational and training requirements. The position requires independent execution of security administration functions in highly controlled environments.
Key Responsibilities- Administer personnel security programs, including management of military, civilian, and contractor security clearances.
- Prepare, manage, and maintain security databases, rosters, tracking systems, and personnel security records.
- Execute reinvestigations and conduct personnel in-processing and out-processing activities.
- Develop and maintain tracking systems for security training, reinvestigations, visit requests, security violations, and installation entry authorization records.
- Enforce security standards governing classified documents, working papers, and information protection requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver initial and recurring security awareness training programs.
- Maintain security continuity binders, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and program documentation.
- Conduct internal security reviews and support external inspections and audits.
- Process and maintain security investigation documentation and integrate lessons learned into training activities.
- Coordinate removable media controls with information system security personnel.
- Perform inspections and operational tests of intrusion detection and facility security systems and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Process restricted-area badges and classified access documentation.
- Conduct escort duties for uncleared personnel when required.
- Program and maintain facility security codes and locking devices.
- Audit and maintain security forms and access authorization lists.
- Conduct and document security out-briefings.
- Strong knowledge of personnel security administration and security program management.
- Experience interpreting and applying Government security regulations, directives, and guidance.
- Ability to manage security records, databases, inspections, investigations, and compliance activities.
- Experience presenting security training and communicating security requirements to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and independent decision-making skills.

Investigation:
This position requires that you obtain a background investigation. As part of this process, the government will perform a criminal, credit, tax, employment, and drug history background check. The government has varying tolerances, with mitigating circumstances, for issues in all of the categories. The government is essentially looking to confirm that you are generally in good financial standing, up to date on your tax filings, rehire eligible with your prior employers, and have adhered to any federal restrictions on illegal drug use, including marijuana, in addition to other checks related on your character and trust worthiness.
