Job Summary: The Garage Door Technician is primarily responsible for installing overhead doors, customer service, assisting in ordering sales of products, processing paperwork, and inventory management of products.

Pay for this role: $16.00 an hour depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of overhead doors.
• Removal of existing doors.
• Installation of door openers.
• Removal of existing door openers.
• Installation of door weather-strip.
• Deliver products and equipment to project sites.
• Operate lift equipment.
• Process ordering and billing of products.

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to analyze technical problems, determine root causes and develop remediation strategies for permanent resolutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Desire to learn and grow professionally.
• Ability to react quickly to problems and respond to them accurately and professionally.
• Self motivated and organized.
• Physical strength to lift and carry 50+ pounds at times.
• Perform duties in ALL types of weather conditions.
• Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
