We drive solutions for dealerships, service centers, and distributors nationwide.
Position Summary The Regional Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations in a designated region to ensure optimal in-stock levels, product integrity, effective shrink management, and timely delivery of automotive products to customers. This role coordinates inventory control, receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and delivery processes while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal in-stock levels for all products in the regional warehouse, forecasting needs and coordinating with procurement to prevent stockouts or overstock.
- Ensure product integrity through proper storage, handling, and rotation of automotive chemicals, additives, and equipment.
- Manage shrink (inventory loss) by implementing controls, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and reporting on variances.
- Oversee receiving, put-away, order fulfillment, and shipping processes to guarantee accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate product deliveries to regional customers, including scheduling routes, managing delivery teams or third-party carriers, and resolving any delivery issues.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, assign daily tasks, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and generate reports on stock levels, shrink, and operational performance.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and corporate teams to support regional distribution goals.
- Conduct regular warehouse audits, safety inspections, and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Handle returns, damages, and warranty claims related to warehouse operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse coordination, inventory management, or logistics, preferably in the automotive, chemical, or distribution industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, shrink management, and supply chain best practices.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification a plus).
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
