Overview
Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Raritan, NJ
. Candidate must have proven Pharma/OTC industry experience with strong cGMP compliance to be considered for the position.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Leads equipment commissioning, qualification, decommissioning, and lifecycle management activities in alignment with cGMP standards.
- Oversees calibration record accuracy, prepares URS/FRS/FAT/SAT documents, and maintains engineering drawings and system documentation.
- Drives packaging development from concept through validation, including component design, testing, and specification creation.
- Coordinates packaging line trials, troubleshooting, and issue resolution while ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate guidelines.
- Collaborates with cross‑functional teams such as Validation, Manufacturing, Maintenance, QA, and R&D to support engineering and packaging initiatives.
- Manages documentation including development plans, protocols, reports, artwork specifications, and pallet patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, packaging engineering, pharmaceutical engineering.
- 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in equipment commissioning/qualification and packaging engineering within a Pharma or OTC environment.
- Strong capability in C&Q activities, including URS/FRS creation, FAT/SAT execution, calibration oversight, and lifecycle documentation under cGMP guidelines.
- Solid experience in packaging development, validation, line trials, and component specification management in regulated manufacturing settings.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
