Senior Manager, SAP BTP Platform Services Maintenance and Operations, Johnson & Johnson Technology Services (JJTS), based in Raritan, NJ, supporting multiple North America SAP-Finance sector services. Reports to the Director of Advanced Technology within the TS-Supply Chain organization. Responsible for SAP BTP Platform Service Administration and Maintenance and for monitoring the overall business process, ensuring efficient and expedient recovery of services required by the business in case of disruption.

• Solution Design:
  Work closely with clients and SAP Practice team to understand their business needs and translate them into effective SAP BTP solutions.
• Technical Expertise:
  Leverage deep understanding of SAP BTP services, including SAP Cloud Platform, data management, analytics, and application development. Proficiency on SAP BTP services, APIs, and integration tools. Knowledge of SAP products including BTP, FIORI, ECC, S/4
  
  HANA, BW, WEB Dispatcher, cloud connectors, and Satellite Systems.
• Integration:
  Seamlessly integrate SAP BTP with SAP S/4
  
  HANA (private cloud) and other SAP and non-SAP enterprise solutions, ensuring end-to-end processes and data flow. Guide system integrations, data flows, and security considerations within the SAP BTP environment. Ensure integration of SAP S/4
  
  HANA with other systems and applications.
• Security and Compliance:
  Ensure security, compliance, and optimal performance of SAP BTP environments tailored to specific client contexts.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work across organizational levels with Enterprise Architect and SAP Solution Architects, project stakeholders, business analysts, developers, and functional teams to translate requirements into scalable SAP BTP solutions. Manage partner relationships as an application service manager.
• Operational Excellence:
  Oversee activities related to the BTP Platform, stay updated on industry trends, conduct system assessments, performance tuning, and optimization. Manage monitoring infrastructure and platform administration.
• Project Delivery:
  Lead or participate in full project life cycles from requirements gathering to deployment and support; analyze performance to optimize SAP BTP resource utilization; develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets; lead a high-performance team and drive continuous process improvement.
• Compliance Process:
  Apply Agile processes (incident management, change, problem, release management) and service validation; configure and customize SAP BTP components to meet business needs; facilitate change management and end-user training; ensure regulatory and security policy compliance.

  Strong verbal and written communication; represent business and IT implications during major service disruptions; lead with enthusiasm, integrity, and collaboration; manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Education:
  • Required:
    
    Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, or a relevant field.
  • Preferred:
    Master's degree.
• Experience and Skills:
  • Required:
    
    14 years of experience as a System Architect supporting SAP applications and platforms, with understanding of servers, applications architecture, system connectivity, platform design, storage, databases, and compliance processes.
  • Required:
    
    Current and/or prior people management experience.
  • Preferred:
    Knowledge of business processes in SAP/ERP services.
  • Preferred:
    Front-end tools using FIORI/UI5; knowledge of integration design.
  • Preferred: SAP BTP App Development & Integration, BTP Architecture and Design, S/4
    
    HANA, SAP BW/ECC, Cloud technologies.
  • Preferred: SAP BTP Certifications (Solution Architect / Integration).
