Sr. Talend Platform Engineer

Job Description:

8+ years of total experience. 5+ years of experience in Talend. Good experience in Talend Platform support. Hands on technical experience as an Talend Administrator, product systems, development projects & support projects. Strong analytical, multi-tasking and problem solving skill and able to work in onshore offshore delivery model. Expertise and working experience in establishing the process, methodology standards at all phases of an Enterprise Data warehouse.

Support all Talend daily admin tasks. Team handling experience in a multi geographical environment. Prior experience in handling multiple stake holders & Customer handling. Need to communicate directly with customers to address their concerns. Having understanding in implementation of ESB (web services) using Talend. Having deep technical understanding on Data Quality and MDM in Talend. Experience working with Hadoop will be a plus.

Knowledge in using Eclipse Tool. Good Knowledge in UNIX. Experience in ETL performance optimization (Talend). Capacity Management. Co-ordinate with Talend team to generate performance & capacity reports. Review & Analyze performance & capacity reports. Proactive capacity planning & analysis. Manage Work Load via Viewpoint. Identify & resolve security risks & gaps. Vendor collaboration and issue escalation. Problem & Incident management.

Log incidents & problems. Coordinate with Talend to resolve incidents. Respond to Incident & Problem tickets. Provide troubleshooting and diagnostic support at L3 level. Responding to L2 notifications. Knowledge Management. Service catalog. Inventory SOP/WI/Platform Qualification documents. Knowledge articles for Helpdesk. Continuous service improvement (CSI). Support task automation. Time reduction. Process simplification. Standardization
