Senior Teams Engineer
Location:
Raritan, NJ Duration: 9 Month+ with possibility to extend Rate: DOE
We are looking for a Senior System Engineer in the IT End-User services area. This role delivers engineering work on our global on-premises to cloud data migration program and supports base business service automation and problem case tasks. The program-team is based in Western Europe (CET) and USA East Coast (EST). This position is part of our global IT End-User Services division, delivering an innovative workplace to our workforce using the latest technology.
We serve all sectors across the enterprise and projects related to our services. This position has a strong focus on IT process-automation and sophisticated problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Experience with tenant to tenant migration for Microsoft Teams (chat and Groups).
- Handle 3rd level incident cases, including vendor interactions as well as end-user contact.
- Document key knowledge for end-users and support teams, as well as training of support teams (train the trainer) to keep the incident resolution process efficient and effective.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent education level
- 10+ years of broad IT experience in the IT End-User services and infrastructure domain required, preferably in a large global organization
Preferred:
- Clear understanding of the different Microsoft Teams clients vs devices and related services
- Knowledge in Power Shell scripting
- Understanding of Windows 10/11
- Work experience in global teams within large multinational matrix organizations is needed, as well as working in fully virtual teams
- Experience in Health Care industry sector or other highly regulated industry (e.g. finance)
- SQL DB and script experience
- On-premises and cloud to cloud data migration experience
- Build Power Shell scripts to configure our O365 tenant, extract data for reporting and increase the level of automation.
Technology background: desktop management, spanning from the server/tenant side to desktop components Other Proven oral and verbal written communication skills in English
