SummaryIntroduction:
The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing enterprise software, data analytics, cloud migration, and data platform implementation projects. This role requires strong experience with Azure cloud services, Databricks-based data platforms, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and the capacity to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage project delivery for enterprise software, data analytics, cloud migration, and data platform implementation projects.
- Utilize Azure cloud services and Databricks-based data platforms for project execution.
- Oversee the data engineering delivery lifecycle including ingestion, transformation, validation, testing, deployment, reporting, and production support.
- Manage Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint execution, blockers resolution, and team velocity improvement.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including development, QA, production support, Dev Ops, business analysts, and external stakeholders.
- Handle stakeholder management, executive communication, business relationship management, and leadership-level delivery metrics.
- Create and maintain project documentation such as project plans, process flows, value stream maps, status reports, and leadership presentations.
- Manage risks, dependencies, budgets, project finance tracking, resource plans, and delivery governance.
- 10+ years of experience in Project Management, Technical Project Management, Program Management, Scrum Master, or Agile delivery roles.
- Strong experience managing enterprise software, data analytics, cloud migration, or data platform implementation projects.
- Hands-on project delivery exposure to Azure cloud services and Databricks-based data platforms.
- Strong understanding of data engineering delivery lifecycle including ingestion, transformation, validation, testing, deployment, reporting, and production support.
- Good understanding of Databricks concepts such as notebooks, jobs/workflows, clusters, Delta Lake, data pipelines, workspace environments, and production deployment coordination.
- Strong Agile/Scrum experience with ability to lead ceremonies, manage sprint execution, resolve blockers, and improve team velocity.
- Experience with JIRA, JQL dashboards, burn-down charts, sprint reporting, release tracking, and leadership-level delivery metrics.
- Strong experience in stakeholder management, executive communication, business relationship management, and cross-functional team coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple teams including development, QA, production support, Dev Ops, business analysts, and external stakeholders.
- Experience in SDLC, UAT coordination, defect management, release planning, change management, and post-production support.
- Strong documentation skills including project plans, process flows, value stream maps, functional design documents, technical design coordination, status reports, and leadership presentations.
- Ability to manage risks, dependencies, budgets, project finance tracking, resource plans, and delivery governance.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Scrum Master, Agile Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent project/program management certification.
- Experience delivering data and analytics solutions in healthcare, life sciences, insurance, financial services, or supply chain domains.
- Experience managing Dev Ops and CI/CD delivery coordination for data platform releases.
- Ability to work with architects and engineering teams to understand technical risks, platform dependencies, environment readiness, and deployment impact.
