Labcorp is seeking an experienced IT Systems Integration Specialist III to support our laboratory operations, systems integrations, and IT infrastructure in Raritan, NJ.
Work Schedule:
This is a full‑time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a First Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible.
- Serve as a liaison between laboratory operations and IT teams.
- Provide onsite support in the Raritan Lab and STAT Labs.
- Manage ongoing support and implementation for various laboratory projects.
- Lead projects including equipment moves, upgrades, relocations, and system testing.
- Lead divisional network initiatives, including WAN, MDF, and IDF infrastructure activities.
- Lead and support projects involving equipment, software, system connectivity, and post‑go‑live stabilization.
- Conduct and audit end‑to‑end system testing, hardware/software validation, and documentation.
- Collaborate with vendors, Corporate IT, IT Security, and lab leadership on installations and integrations.
- Perform administrative and clerical support activities as needed.
- Associate's Degree.
- 10 or more years' experience in both a laboratory environment and IT support/infrastructure.
- 10 or more years' experience in an IT position.
- 10 or more years' experience with LIS or laboratory instrument interface systems.
- 10 or more years' experience supporting regulated environments (CLIA, CAP, FDA, ISO).
- 10 or more years' experience with network configuration, monitoring tools, and asset management systems.
- 10 or more years' experience in Medical Technology.
- 10 or more years' of project management experience.
- IT certifications or technical degrees (A+, Network+, Security+).
- Current or prior Labcorp experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime or off‑hours as needed (e.g., go‑lives, outages, critical support).
- Must comply with HIPAA, security, and confidentiality standards.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage competing priorities under tight timelines, especially during outages or go‑lives.
- Strong customer service mindset, with the ability to work effectively with laboratory leadership, scientists, and technical teams.
