Principal Scientist, Data Science (primary location flexible: Titusville, NJ; Raritan, NJ; Spring House, PA; Cambridge, MA; or San Diego, CA)
Responsibilities:

  • Define end-to-end vision for medical imaging data products (ingestion, curation, integration, consumption).
  • Lead development and scaling of imaging data products aligned to clinical trial and therapeutic needs.
  • Enable data standards and governance; promote FAIR principles and ensure regulatory/privacy/ethical compliance.
  • Partner with therapeutic and disease area teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional execution across data science, engineering, clinical teams, and external partners (CROs/vendors).
  • Modernize imaging pipelines, platforms, and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Expand the imaging-focused data product portfolio aligned to clinical development priorities.
Education:
  • Master's degree required;
    PhD or equivalent preferred.
  • Advanced degree in Imaging Health Sciences or related field.
  • Background in Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging, Interventional Medicine, Medical Physics, or similar.
Experience &

Skills:
  • 10+ years in medical imaging and multi-modal data environments.
  • Proven experience building/scaling data products or platforms.
  • Leadership in cross-functional and vendor collaborations.
  • Hands-on imaging data standards (e.g., DICOM), PACS, and multi-modal pipelines.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML/advanced analytics in imaging (e.g., computer vision).
  • Ability to translate imaging data into business and clinical value.
Preferred skills:
  • Advanced analytics, coaching, critical thinking, data analysis/reporting/visualization, digital fluency, process improvements, strategic thinking, technical credibility, workflow analysis.
