The Senior Director, Global Commercial Lead-MM will report directly to the Vice President of Global Multiple Myeloma Commercial Strategy and will lead a cross-functional, highly matrixed global commercial team across both bispecific antibody brands consisting of functions including Strategic Marketing, Market Research, Global Commercial Insights and Analytics, Market Access and Pricing, Medical Affairs, Health Economics, Regulatory, Data Sciences and Regional Commercial, to develop and implement the global commercial strategy.
This leader will also be responsible for crafting global launches for MM brands as well as lifecycle management for future indications and evidence generation needs. He/ she is responsible for commercial leadership on the compound development team (CDT) and global labeling teams.
The Commercial Leader, Multiple Myeloma, contributes to optimizing the value in collaboration with key functions across the Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO), JNJ Research and Development (R&D) and Janssen (J&JIM) business regions.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To The Following Commercial Strategy- Lead the Global Commercial Team (GCT) across both brands with representation from NA, EMEA, AP, LA and other key stakeholders to develop and execute global commercial and brand strategy.
- Drive development of key components of commercial strategy, including brand development, public relations, medical strategy, market access/reimbursement strategies, and other market preparation programs across both brands.
- Build strategies and innovative go-to market approaches across both brands for flawless launch and seamless customer experience in partnership with regional operating companies.
- Collaborate with regional partners to lead the creation and execution of well-coordinated commercial strategies and launch plans across both brands, embedding external customer insights from patients, health care providers, pathology/testing labs and payers. Embed an increasingly digital/omnichannel mindset in our go to market models.
- Effectively partner with R&D and Regions to coordinate commercial plans across both brands with operational strategy as well as key holistic brand messaging.
- Effectively partner with R&D in Compound Development Teams and within the Disease Area Strategy forums, and the regional leadership to provide input into product development, label optimization, evidence generation, lifecycle decisions, formulation and dosing enhancements that supports the commercial launch strategy and lifecycle management investments across both brands.
- Lead the development of strong business case for new investments and lead/represent global commercial point of view through governance process across both brands.
- Provide commercial input into the full asset valuation in collaboration with the Global Commercial insights and Analytics team. Leverage knowledge of the current and future market to provide insights for forecasting, strategic planning, and business planning in close collaboration with business analytics partners for competitive Intelligence, market research and forecasting across both brands.
- Accountable for managing marketing strategy budget across both brands.
- Demonstrate strong external focus by active engagement with key stakeholders including Key Opinion Leaders and Patient Opinion Leaders.
- Support the development of a robust portfolio strategy in Multiple Myeloma providing commercial input and aligned business plan.
- Be the ambassador for GCSO to attract, develop, and retain high performing talent.
- Build vibrant team culture and shape next generation of commercial leaders.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. An advanced degree in business or life sciences is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive biotech, pharmaceutical or relevant experience is required.
- In-line marketing experience with senior brand responsibility and people management in dynamic and innovative specialty therapeutic area. Oncology/hematology experience is strongly preferred.
