Senior Scientist - Biostatistics

Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division is seeking a Senior Scientist in Biostatistics to support clinical development, medical affairs, discovery, and manufacturing programs.

Primary objective s include designing, executing, and analyzing studies; supporting regulatory submissions; and providing statistical expertise for research and product development.

• Apply advanced statistical methodologies.
• Optimize study designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinical, medical affairs, discovery, manufacturing).
• Represent the department in various forums.
• Manage multiple projects independently.
• Engage in process improvements.
• Contribute to scientific publications.
• Support regulatory submissions with statistical evidence.
• Travel domestically and internationally for collaborations.
• Lead statistical methodology, communicate effectively with non-statisticians, and continue learning in digital and AI tools.

• Ph.D. or Master’s in Statistics or related field.
• Proficiency in R, SAS, Python.
• Extensive experience in biopharma research, including clinical trial support, regulatory compliance, and GxP standards.
• Experience focusing on drug development across multiple office locations (no remote). Emphasis on data analysis, innovative statistical techniques, and cross-functional partnership.
