We are searching for the best talent for a Director, Project & Portfolio Management, Biosurgery (PPMG), who will be responsible for managing a team of Project Heads, responsible for cross-functional collaboration and execution to ensure new product program delivery. Key success metrics for this role are meeting project objectives including, but not limited to, time to market, cost of goods (COGS), development costs, quality metrics, and ability to meet projected demand.

This will be a hybrid position (3 days on-site, 2 remote) based in Raritan, NJ.

The role will serve on the Biosurgery R&D Leadership Team advocating for projects with cross-functional peers and acting as a governance escalation point. This team member will have career development, resource management, and oversight responsibilities for a team of site-based and/or remote direct reports. This role requires strong collaboration skills and partnership with R&D, Global Strategic Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance.

The role also requires strong expertise in medical device and biologics development, including a strong understanding of global regulatory and clinical requirements.

• Manages Project Heads (PHs) supporting Biosurgery innovation programs.
• Responsible for all executional aspects of Biosurgery NPD programs.
• Accountable for program tracking, acceleration, and risk identification and mitigation for Biosurgery programs
• Raises concerns to the VP, Biosurgery R&D and/or Operating Committee (OC) to ensure issues are being addressed and elevated to the appropriate level
• Owns input and operational expertise to aid the Head of PPMG for management reviews, including scenario development, trade-off implications, and evaluation of improvement opportunities
