Experience

Required:

8+ years of experience with and understanding of various database technologies: RDBMS, No

SQL, Hadoop and Gemfire.

Expert in Gemfire architecture, design, development.

Experience with Gemfire load balancing policies.

Experience with Gemfire plugin interfaces.

Knowledge of virtualization technologies and concepts is a plus.

In-depth knowledge of network and distributed internet technologies including TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers and web application architectures is a plus.

Expert experience with at least one if not most of the following languages; python, perl, java, or C++.

Experience with XML, HTTP/SOAP and HTTP-direct.

Experience with gfc, JMX, command line utility, VSD.

Expert in Object query language.

Expert in querying and indexing.

Experience in performance tuning.

Expert in Core Java Programming.

Experience in Multithreaded Programming in Java.

Experience in Programming using Web services (SOAP, REST API).

Experience in Performance Improvement, Refactoring of Code.

Should be expert in fundamentals of programming e.g Collection Classes – Linked List, Double Link List etc...

Spring Framework, Spring Data, Spring Integration, Spring Batch, Spring XD and Hibernate (Big Plus).

Understanding of Distributed Systems.

Qualifications and

Required Skills:

B.Tech or related Bachelor/Masters Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

Perform root cause analysis and resolution of issues.

Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

Strong, proactive verbal and written communication skills and client interactions.

Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment.

Ability to respond to frequent demands of multiple internal customers.
