Sr. Account Manager

We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Accounts Manager to lead financial planning, management, and control across our Leasing/Construction/Hospitality businesses. This role ensures accurate reporting, budget discipline, cost efficiency, healthy cash flow, and full compliance with UAE regulations.

• Act as a strategic finance partner to management, providing insights that drive profitability and sustainable growth.
• Lead group budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning across business units.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and consolidated reporting/MIS.
• Oversee AP/AR, bank reconciliations, vendor payables, petty cash, and intercompany balances.
• Manage project cost tracking, contractor certifications/payments, and budget control for construction activities.
• Manage rent collection, lease billing, tenant account reconciliation, and receivables follow-up for leasing operations.
• Support hospitality finance including revenue tracking, F&B costing, payroll review, and cash flow monitoring.
• Maintain investment/portfolio records, P&L tracking, and accounting for dividends/returns.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure strong internal controls and regulatory compliance (IFRS/GAAP).

• Financial planning & strategy: develop and execute the group’s financial strategy; prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and projections; support pricing, expansion, and investment decisions; monitor performance vs. targets and recommend corrective actions.
• Reporting & analysis: oversee monthly/quarterly/annual reporting and consolidation; present KPIs and performance insights to senior management.
• Cost control & profitability: implement cost control systems across projects and operations; partner with procurement/operations to ensure cost-effective sourcing and consumption.
• Cash flow & treasury: manage cash flow and liquidity; oversee banking transactions, petty cash, and inter‑branch transfers; optimize working capital and supplier credit terms; maintain bank relationships.
• Accounting & audit: supervise daily accounting operations and internal controls; ensure proper recording in line with IFRS/GAAP; manage reconciliations (banks, suppliers, intercompany); coordinate internal/external audits and close findings.
• Taxation & compliance: ensure compliance with UAE tax laws (VAT and Corporate Tax); file accurate, timely returns; stay updated on legislative changes and advise management; maintain documentation readiness for inspections.
• Team leadership: manage and mentor the accounts team; set KPIs; build capability in financial management and reporting systems; promote accountability and transparency.
• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Consolidate financial reports.
• Present financial performance reports and KPIs to senior management.

• MBA/BBA in Finance, CA, Advanced Accounting, or a relevant degree/diploma.
• Minimum 5 years’ managerial experience in a well‑established construction company (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
• Hands‑on knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and relevant financial regulations.
• Strong command of financial reporting, consolidation, audit coordination, and internal controls.
• Ability to manage multi‑business unit finance operations (construction, leasing, hospitality, and investments).
