About Wynn Al Marjan Island

On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in Spring 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theater, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to join the resort’s Wynn Oasis team.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the efficient operation of the assigned duty area.
  • Maintain the resort’s high standards of hygiene and safety across work areas, facilities, and equipment.
  • Monitor best practices for clearing, cleaning, washing, and storing crockery, pots, and glassware, as well as sanitizing kitchen equipment and work areas, including ovens, stovetops, floors, and ceilings.
  • Supervise and monitor the correct use, handling, and storage of cleaning chemicals.
  • Perform duties assigned by the Assistant Manager and assume responsibilities in their absence.
  • Delegate duties and tasks fairly and equitably among team members.
  • Provide supervision, direction, and leadership to Stewards to achieve departmental goals.
  • Coach, motivate, counsel, and evaluate staff performance.
  • Conduct daily briefings and share relevant information with the team.
  • Identify and correct deviations from stewarding procedures promptly through on-the-job training.
  • Promote a work environment where employees feel valued, appreciated, involved, equal, and safe.
  • Interact professionally and positively with department and company team members, management, and contractors.
  • Attend departmental and interdepartmental meetings and share relevant information.
  • Foster strong relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two-way and multicultural communication.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct.
  • Maintain a well-mannered, well-groomed, and hygienic appearance at all times, in accordance with department and company standards.
  • Follow health and safety standards and strive for continuous improvement to prevent health and injury hazards.
  • Participate in the company recycling program and maintain strict discipline to reduce, reuse, and recycle wherever possible.
About You
  • Due to gaming operations and associated regulatory requirements, the minimum age for employment is 21 years.
  • The minimum educational qualification required is completion of secondary school; higher academic credentials are considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the 5-star hotel industry or integrated resort, of which at least 2 years must be in a supervisory role in stewarding operations across multi-outlet or chain food and beverage environments.
  • Knowledge of the correct use, handling, and storage of cleaning chemicals.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hotel operating systems.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Physically fit and capable of cleaning high areas, handling large equipment, and heavy lifting.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment.
  • Flexible with work schedules and able to work in shifts based on business needs.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.
