Inter Continental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa is a luxury beachfront resort where island living meets authentic Arabian hospitality. Less than an hour from Dubai, the resort offers a refined yet relaxed escape surrounded by natural landscapes, open sea views, and powder-soft beaches. With a collection of rooms, villas, and residences, a variety of restaurants and bars, and award-winning spa and leisure facilities, we focus on creating thoughtful, personal, and memorable experiences for families, couples, and groups in a true resort setting.

If you love turning ideas into well-run events and building strong client relationships, we want you on our Sales & Marketing team as a Groups & Events Executive.

Responsibilities
  • Manage groups and events enquiries from initial contact through to post-event follow-up
  • Convert qualified leads into confirmed business in line with revenue and room night targets
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders accurately and on time
  • Coordinate closely with operations to ensure smooth handover and flawless event delivery
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients before, during, and after events
  • Host clients on event days and gather feedback to support repeat business
  • Maintain sales action plans, client databases, and correspondence records
  • Support promotions, marketing initiatives, mass mailings, and sales activities
  • Assist with budgeting, business planning, and sales reporting
  • Identify new accounts, feeder markets, and revenue opportunities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in sales, events, or hospitality
  • Experience with groups, events, or MICE is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of the local market and business trends
  • Strong communication, coordination, and administrative skills
  • Well-organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working to deadlines
  • Confident working with multiple stakeholders and operational teams
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft applications and hotel systems such as Opera and Delphi
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are an advantage
  • UAE driving licence is a plus
  • Ras Al Khaimah based position
