ResponsibilitiesHere’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
- Handle purchase requests:
Process purchase requests and conduct market research and price comparisons to ensure quality and value. - Coordinate departmental requests:
Liaise with other departments to understand and address purchasing requirements. - Prepare purchasing reports:
Maintain and prepare accurate purchasing reports and related documentation. - Monitor stock requirements:
Coordinate with relevant departments to help minimize overstocking and under stocking. - Respond to enquiries:
Handle purchasing requests and enquiries in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner. - Support purchasing operations:
Assist the Purchasing Supervisor with the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the department. - Maintain quality and value:
Support the procurement of required goods at competitive prices without compromising quality. - Perform additional duties:
Carry out other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with purchasing and inventory management systems.
- Good understanding of purchasing procedures, supplier coordination, market research, and inventory requirements.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
