Senior Housekeeping Manager - Operations

About Wynn Al Marjan Island:
Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Senior Operations Manager – Rooms to join the resort’s hotel housekeeping team.

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Lead daily Guest Room housekeeping operations, ensuring Forbes-standard cleanliness and service.
• Support the Executive Housekeeper in achieving departmental goals and maintaining operational standards.
• Supervise Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Guest Room Attendants, ensuring effective communication and performance.
• Conduct daily briefings and communicate guest needs, priorities, and updates.
• Inspect rooms and service areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness.
• Enforce grooming standards, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate room readiness, VIP arrivals, and special requests with other departments.
• Maintain quality, efficiency, safety, and sustainability standards.
• Monitor operational systems, room status, and maintenance requests.
• Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Support audits, training, and Forbes standards implementation.
• Oversee supplies, equipment, inventory, and cost controls.
• Assist with scheduling, workforce planning, and productivity management.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, and colleague development.
• Promote engagement through coaching, recognition, and team-building.
• Manage relationships with external service providers.
• Ensure accurate linen, inventory, and ordering controls.
• Promote safety awareness and emergency preparedness.
• Act on behalf of the Executive Housekeeper when required.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
• 6–8 years of experience in Public Area or Housekeeping operations within a large 5 ‑ star hotel or resort, including a minimum of 2–4 years in a supervisory or managerial Rooms role.
• Experience in an integrated resort, gaming environment, or Forbes Travel Guide setting is strongly preferred.
• Proven leadership capability with strong skills in communication, organization, coaching, delegation, and team motivation.
• Advanced knowledge of cleaning standards, housekeeping procedures, textiles, product usage, chemical handling, and equipment care.
• Proficient in Public Area/Housekeeping management systems, including Opera and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated ability in operations management, workload planning, service quality control, and problem ‑ solving.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, and follow ‑ through.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
