Laundry Supervisor

Established in 2000 in Turkey Rixos pioneers the ALL Inclusive ALL Exclusive concept inviting guests to discover a world of possibilities with luxurious stays inclusive of culinary delights from around the globe live entertainment daily sports and fitness activities sensorial spa and wellness journeys and fun-filled kids and teens activities Each Rixos property presents a unique experience inspired by local culture global influences and our Turkish heritage all within a setting of unparalleled luxury Rixos Al Mairid is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Laundry Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the laundry department This role ensures that all laundry processes including washing drying ironing and distribution are carried out efficiently and meet the highest standards of hygiene and quality The Laundry Supervisor will manage a team of attendants ensure compliance with safety and sustainability guidelines and maintain an efficient workflow to support guest satisfaction and operational excellence

Lead and coordinate the activities of laundry attendants to ensure efficient operation and high-quality service

Oversee the entire laundry process including sorting washing drying ironing and folding ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation

Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of all laundry equipment reporting any maintenance issues to the engineering team for timely repair

Conduct regular checks to ensure linens uniforms and guest laundry meet company quality standards before distribution

Monitor and manage stock levels of detergents chemicals and laundry supplies ensuring proper storage and usage

Coordinate guest laundry dry cleaning and pressing services ensuring timely delivery and handling of special requests

Implement eco-friendly practices by optimizing water and energy consumption reducing chemical waste and promoting sustainable cleaning solutions

Ensure all laundry processes comply with hygiene safety and infection control standards including the proper handling of soiled and contaminated linens

Provide training to laundry attendants on best practices machine operation safety protocols and guest service excellence

Work closely with the housekeeping uniform and linen departments to ensure smooth operations and timely linen distribution

Maintain accurate records of laundry operations including equipment maintenance logs inventory levels and performance reports

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or certification in hospitality or textile management is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a hotel or commercial laundry operation, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of laundry chemicals, fabric care, and machine operation.

Leadership & Team Management:
Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to Detail:
Strong ability to maintain high cleanliness, hygiene, and quality standards.

Communication

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with multiple departments.
