Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated OCR Manager to organize, coordinate, supervise, and verify the Control Room Operators’ activities. She/he will create an environment where co‑workers can challenge existing processes and discover new ways of working that bring important advantage to the organization. Provide executive‑level visibility to operational performance, incidents and outages, resources assigned, project activity, and service‑level performance. The candidate will be responsible for all strategic activities of the OCR department, evaluate the work of the team, inspire the team, and monitor activities to execute the vision, strategy, and goals of the company.
MainResponsibilities
- Maintain relationships with internal and external clients (staff, operators).
- Coordinate staff under supervision.
- Respect and maintain the standards imposed by the company.
- Actively contribute to the company’s development.
- Document operational tasks and report to direct manager and upper management.
- Analyze data and create reports.
- Deploy and maintain a department activity tracker complete with different charts.
- Motivate and coach new employees, assist in training OCR team members.
- Create procedures, workflows, and key performance indicators for OCR.
- Organize, coordinate, and supervise staff under operational activities.
- Submit bonus consolidated reports to HR as per deadlines.
- Define or improve KPI metrics of performance for team members.
- Report KPIs regularly to senior management.
- Manage resources and utilize assets to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets.
- Ensure procedures, rules, promotions, and game strategies are up to date.
- Announce to management any deviation from company standards.
- Present company standards to supervised staff.
- Suggest measures to improve the player’s experience.
- Participate in improving the company’s activity with constructive suggestions regarding staff and player experience.
- Work on processes to achieve ISO standardization and certification.
- Transmit to management the player’s impression regarding their game experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; other languages are a plus.
- Relevant certifications in project management, operations, or leadership (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma).
- Extensive experience in operations management, including significant leadership exposure.
- Proven track record in control room operations or similar environments.
- Experience in the iGaming industry or related fields is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of operational control systems, software, and hardware.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and reporting software.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to inspire and motivate teams toward operational excellence.
- Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams and multidisciplinary projects.
