The laboratory Technician carries out various experiments such as color matching, product improvement, RM evaluation, or cost optimization. They also prepare powder samples for customer line trials. The technician is responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring it is in working condition, keeping the area organized and clean, and managing the panel library to ensure panels are sent to customers or sales representatives in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out the experiments designed by the Laboratory Manager/Chemist to develop or match the colors requested by sales teams.
- Maintain the shade panel library and ensure availability of color panels.
- Produce bulk laboratory samples.
- Maintain the laboratory area neat and clean.
- Powder chemical knowledge.
- Ability to work with different equipment while following safety rules.
- Written and spoken English.
