The Busbar Technician is responsible for reading and interpreting electrical GA and busbar layout drawings to assemble and install busbar trunking systems according to project specifications and manufacturer standards.
Responsibilities:- Measuring, cutting, drilling, bending, fitting, aligning, jointing and torque tightening busbar components while ensuring proper insulation, phase identification, and earthing.
- Conducting inspections and tests; supporting commissioning and troubleshooting activities; coordinating with project teams; and adhering to all HSE and electrical safety regulations.
- Reporting installation issues; performing maintenance and modifications; maintaining tools and equipment; and ensuring timely, quality completion of assigned work.
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in busbar installation and maintenance.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, power, data center, or infrastructure projects.
