Senior Instrumentation Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, calibrate, maintain and repair instrumentation and control equipment
  .
• Troubleshoot faults in sensors, transmitters, controllers, control valves and associated systems
  .
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation assets.
• Conduct routine inspections across treatment plants, pumping stations and distribution facilities.
• Use calibration, diagnostic and testing equipment for fault finding.
• Respond to breakdowns and restore equipment with minimum downtime.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams and technical documentation
  .
• Maintain calibration, maintenance and fault records.
• Prepare technical reports and follow HSE/safety requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians when required.

• High School/Technical Diploma in Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics, Electrical Engineering
  , or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in instrumentation and control maintenance
  .
• Experience in water treatment, desalination, pumping stations or utilities preferred.
• Strong calibration, troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.
