Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maneuver mobile cranes to lift move and position loads according to project specifications and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-operational inspections of the crane including checking fluid levels safety devices and ensuring equipment is in optimal working condition
- Communicate effectively with ground crew and site supervisors using hand signals and two-way radios to coordinate lifting operations
- Assess site conditions including ground stability and overhead hazards to ensure safe crane operation and prevent accidents
- Valid crane operator certification from a recognized agency along with required category 8 license
Minimum of 3 years of experience operating mobile cranes in construction or industrial settings, demonstrating a strong safety record. - Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and load charts to execute complex lifts accurately.
