Senior Electrical Technician

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrician - O&M Power to support the maintenance, repair and operation of electrical distribution systems. The role focuses on ensuring reliable power infrastructure through preventive and breakdown maintenance, electrical fault diagnosis, inspections and operational support during planned and unplanned outages.

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults while minimizing downtime.
• Perform regular inspection, testing and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
• Monitor electrical equipment and systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Support operations during scheduled and unscheduled power outages and assist with restoration of services.
• Carry out electrical maintenance and repair activities in line with operating procedures.
• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
• Maintain maintenance records and prepare technical/incident reports.
• Identify electrical system upgrades and improvements to enhance reliability.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, regulations and operational procedures.
• Guide and support team members in carrying out maintenance activities and established procedures.

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience in electrical maintenance and repair

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical power systems and equipment.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
