We are seeking an experienced and passionate Carpenter to join our team in Ras-al-Khaimah. This position will be responsible for the construction, assembly, and repair of structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in carpentry or related fields. However, we are prepared to consider entry-level applicants who have shown aptitude and willingness to learn the trade.

The successful applicant should have a good understanding of construction principles, materials, methods, equipment, and tools used in carpentry. They should also possess excellent problem-solving skills as well as manual dexterity and be comfortable working with their hands. A strong understanding of safety protocols is essential when it comes to the use of tools and materials.

• measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, installing, and finishing wooden structures according to specifications;
• reading blueprints;
• designing items from sketches;
• creating patterns or templates;
• operating saws or other power tools;
• smoothing joints with chisels or planes;
• treating lumber with preservatives;
• repairing furniture or fixtures;
• performing maintenance on tools;
• creating wooden displays or structures for special occasions;
• installing window frames or doors;
• laying flooring or paneling;
• constructing roof trusses;
• setting posts for fences or decks;
• and performing other related tasks as required.

This is a full-time role that offers an attractive salary of 900 AED per month plus benefits.
