Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Skilled Technicians based in Ras al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The role involves installing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining fire detection and protection systems in accordance with relevant codes and standards. Technicians will also perform installation and maintenance of security and CCTV systems and may support IT infrastructure and related solutions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting faults, performing repairs, documenting work completed, and coordinating with project engineers and supervisors.

The role requires adherence to safety procedures, accurate reporting, and collaboration with clients and internal teams to ensure reliable system performance.
Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire detection and protection systems, with knowledge of Civil Defense guidelines and UAE Fire Code.
• Experience working with security systems, including CCTV cameras and access control, following Police Department and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Ability to support basic IT and low-current systems, including cabling, networking fundamentals, and integration of fire and security solutions with IT infrastructure.
• Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals, with solid troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in electrical, electronics, instrumentation, or a related field; additional certifications in fire alarm or security systems are an advantage.
• Familiarity with safety standards and safe work practices, including proper use of tools, test equipment, and personal protective equipment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, site personnel and project teams.
• Previous field experience in fire safety, security, or low-current systems within the UAE or GCC region is preferred; valid UAE driver’s license is an added benefit.
