Welder and Fabricator
This role is ideal for an experienced Welder/Fabricator who is skilled in all major welding processes, including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core. You will focus on precision sheet metal fabrication and assembly, reading and interpreting blueprints, and performing cutting, forming, welding, and finishing of metal components while consistently maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine material requirements and fabrication methods.
- Cut, form, and prepare sheet metal and other materials using appropriate tools and equipment to meet project dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core processes to fabricate and assemble metal components and structures.
- Inspect welds and fabricated parts to ensure they meet quality standards, dimensional accuracy, and structural integrity.
- Finish and refine metal components through grinding, deburring, and other finishing techniques to achieve required surface quality.
- Set up, operate, and maintain welding and fabrication equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow established safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment to maintain a safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient workflow and equipment operation.
- At least 4 years of experience in welding and fabricating.
- Proficiency in MIG welding.
- Proficiency in TIG welding.
- Experience with Flux-Core welding.
- Experience with Stick welding.
- Strong sheet metal fabrication skills, including cutting, forming, and assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with a variety of metal types and thicknesses.
- Ability to use fabrication tools and equipment such as cutters, grinders, and forming tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to precise measurements and tolerances.
- Solid problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot fabrication or welding issues.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a production or shop environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
