Job Description
Meat clerks are responsible for keeping the pre-packaged meat section well stocked and orderly in appearance. They will order and unload product, stock shelves and build displays as required. Meat clerks will wrap, weigh, price, and merchandise meat department products. They must maintain a clean work area, follow all safety rules, and perform other tasks as assigned. Other tasks may be in a meat prep area.
They must be familiar with store products and their locations to assist customers, and must adhere to strict standards of sanitation, food safety and personal hygiene.
