Position OverviewIn this role you will be responsible for delivery and pickup of parts and equipment from various locations and assist in the parts room with inventory stocking, filing, paperwork, and general clean‑up.
Wage$20-$22 DOE with potential for overtime.

- Facilitate communication between outside vendors and construction personnel
- Process parts requests and maintain equipment parts lists
- Communicate with shop manager on inventory levels and upcoming parts needs
- Run forklift to unload incoming and load outgoing shipments (forklift training provided)
- Demonstrate safe work habits and take an active role in the company's safety program
- Pick up and deliver parts from plants, corporate vendors and job sites
- Drive pickup truck, flatbed truck or truck with trailer
- Puts away parts on shelves in parts department
- Sweep and clean shop and surrounding areas, empty garbage
- May start vehicles, check fluids and wash vehicles
- File paperwork
- Perform daily inspections of the shop and surrounding area
- Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions
- Other tasks and duties as assigned to meet business needs
- Regular and timely attendance
- Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission
- Demonstrated high dependability with a track record of punctuality and reliability
- Demonstrated ability to be self‑motivated and capable of working independently and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with coworkers and customers
- Demonstrates the ability to perform work efficiently utilizing a PC and Windows-based software such as Excel, Word, and internet-based programs
- Must pass physical exam and pre‑employment controlled substance testing
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Experience with parts and inventory highly preferred
The employee is frequently required to sit, climb, and use hands to signal and handle equipment. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders.
Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
