The Ravenna School District is seeking interested and qualified candidates to teach ELL/English as a Second Language for Elementary through High School aged students.
Employment Information- Position Type: Part-time English Language Learner (ELL/ESL) Tutor
- Hours: Approximately 20-25 hours per week
- Pay Rate: $30.15/hour
- Mileage: Reimbursement based upon IRS rate
- Sick Leave: 1.25 days/month
- Personal Leave: None

- Direct instruction with students whose English is limited
- Consult and collaborate with teachers to support the classroom instruction
- Ability to work cooperatively in multiple school buildings
- Administration of the OELPS – Ohio's English language screening tools (if needed)
- Administration of the OELPA – Ohio's English Language Proficiency Assessment (Spring)
- Communication with parents/guardians about the student's progress working with the teachers and district supervisor.
- Criminal background check
- Substitute teaching license through the Ohio Department of Education
- Bachelor's Degree
- TESL experience and working with K-12 students preferred
