Dealer Relationship Manager (DRM) – Auto Finance (Ohio)
Chase Auto is a leading provider of auto financing, serving more than 75% of U.S. franchised automotive dealers with a portfolio of over $80 billion in assets. The Business is part of the JPMorgan Chase franchise and offers services ranging from retail lending and captive financing to cash management and payment processing.
Responsibilities- Sign up dealers to local market programs and train dealership personnel on contracts.
- Act as liaison between dealerships and the Dealer Service Center where credit decisions are made.
- Monitor dealer performance metrics such as efficiency ratios, delinquency, losses, and profitability.
- Increase and maintain required market‑share levels and attain volume plans at acceptable business levels.
- Train dealers on all consumer and commercial products.
- Achieve sales targets and build long‑term client relationships.
- Identify opportunities to offer commercial financing solutions, including floor‑plan financing and treasury management in partnership with commercial bankers.
- Manage a customer/dealer base of 85+ accounts.
- Underwriting and sales experience within the auto finance industry.
- Demonstrated people‑management skills with the ability to influence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing a sales territory.
- 3+ years of indirect auto finance industry experience.
- General knowledge and understanding of the automotive industry and automotive dealerships.
- Excellent sales‑presentation skills to motivate new clients to use services and products.
- Thorough knowledge of indirect finance products (retail/lease).
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
- Willing to travel daily locally.
- Consumer‑leading and commercial product knowledge.
- BS degree.
