North East Ambulance Services offers a PAID Apprentice program designed to educate candidates and prepare them to successfully complete the National Registry Exam to become a licensed EMT. The accelerated class lasts 6 weeks, with classes Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, plus required clinical and ride time.
Next class will start September 2026. Applications submitted between now and mid August will be considered for that class.
