Computer Technician
This is a technical support position requiring computer workstation and network maintenance, troubleshooting, software installation, and software support. Installs, maintains, and services audio-visual equipment, Epson short-throw interactive projectors, phones, and other miscellaneous technology equipment. Processes warranty claims for equipment and/or parts replacements. Performs preventative maintenance and routine cleaning of equipment. Maintains records and inventory. Responds promptly to end-user requests for assistance.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Has attained a high school diploma or GED
- Possess foundational experience in the following technical areas:
- Familiarity with Windows 10, Apple OS, Office 365
- Strong technical skills in troubleshooting and repair verified by training/work experience
- Workstation hardware and peripheral installation
- Workstation software installation, Windows system imaging, and inventory management
- Experience with LAN connectivity (wired and Wi-Fi) and troubleshooting
- CompTIA A+ Certification preferred
- Has the ability to perform manual tasks requiring the capacity to lift a minimum of 30 lbs
- Strong work ethic
- Demonstrated reliability and excellent attendance
- Eagerness to learn new technological skills
- Capable of working independently
Hourly rate and hours: $25.74 up to $33.16 depending on education and experience. Eight hours per shift, (7:30 am 3:30 pm), Monday-Friday, forty hours per week, 260 days per year.
