Kitchen Utility Associate

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots and pans, food carts, and food preparation equipment
• Empty kitchen garbage/trash and sanitize containers
• Check in, unpack, and store dry goods, cleaning supplies, and cold stock
• Maintain food storage areas and assist in cleaning food service areas and heavy equipment
• Keep temperature checks current throughout the kitchen
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors; maintain cleanliness of walls in kitchen and serving areas
• Assist with buffet set-up and special functions

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
• At least 1 year of related work experience preferred
• Ability to safely handle food in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Excellent interpersonal skills and polished appearance

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, turn, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and perform fine manipulation throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds unassisted
• Normal or corrected vision and hearing, including color recognition

• Work is performed in a well-lit, well-ventilated kitchen, with exposure to heat, cold, water, odors, dust, and noise
