Overview

PROCESS – QUALITY CONTROL 2ND SHIFT

Monday to Friday: 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM

Includes $2 per hour 2nd Shift premium.

Responsibilities
  • Securing quality for all products.
  • Compliance with color difference management standards.
  • Lot and color deviation management for all products.
  • Acceptance/Rejection of the produced product.
  • Injection molding color chips and check color data of products.
  • Color chip production for each serial number (lot number).
  • Measurement of basic properties of the process (foreign matter, melt index, etc.).
  • Manage working condition in QC room.
  • Production color chip and chromatic difference.
  • Storage and management of all color chip, sheet.
  • Repair and clean the QC room equipment if needed.
  • Comply with and maintain ISO/IATF/Safety policies/procedures for the plant.
  • Cleans machines, cleans work area, and manages scrap.
  • Follow all company safety policies to ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Uphold the Jeong-Do Management (Code of ethics).
  • Other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor or designee.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Skills / Competencies
  • Operate QC equipment (Color detector, Melt Index, Injection machine, etc).
  • Familiarity with quality standards and processes to follow federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Knowledge of the product to perform accurate quality control.
  • Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
  • Ability to read and follow instruction sets and drawings as needed.
  • Ability to learn the use of all lab equipment and system needed to perform daily tasks.
  • Ability to support a flexible schedule (overtime) as needed and required.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and good communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements preferred.
  • Experience in production and/or manufacturing, especially working with polymer compounding, mixing / blending, and packaging processes.
  • Have basic computer knowledge and overall processing systems/operations and related equipment.
  • Must have acceptable math skills and the ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and make decisions.
  • Experience in management recipe regarding pigment.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
  • Experience /

    Qualifications:

    2+ years of experience in Quality Control at polymer manufacturing plant preferred.
