Description

Longmeadow Long-Term Care & Skilled Nursing, located in Ravenna, OH and proudly part of the Embassy Healthcare community, is seeking an experienced RN to fill the Director of Nursing role. Lead our people strategy and foster a culture of Excellence, Teamwork, Knowledge, and Respect. The Director of Nursing (DON) plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the nursing department to ensure company standards.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
  • Must possess current RN License and be in good standing with the Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • At least two years’ experience in nursing administration, including supervision, preferably in a long‑term care setting. Knowledgeable about regulations and standards established by Medicare, Medicaid, and state and city government.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee nursing administration and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare standards.
  • Manage nursing staff, providing supervision, training, and support to enhance team performance.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve patient care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address resident needs and uphold residents’ rights.
  • Monitor and evaluate nursing practices and patient outcomes to ensure high-quality care delivery.
