Job Description & How to Apply Below
Manufacturing Quality Compliance Specialist At Spring Seal, Inc., quality isn’t a checkpoint—it’s a rhythm that plays through every shift. On our 2nd or 3rd shift team, you’ll move between the lab, the line, and the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring every part and process meets stringent internal and regulatory standards.

A day in this role

You start by verifying that gauges and test devices are calibrated and ready. A floor walk follows: you confirm machine parameters, check materials, observe operator performance against work instructions, and sample in-process parts for dimensional and visual checks. When something isn’t right, you identify nonconforming product, initiate the appropriate reports, and coordinate disposition. You’ll capture and analyze test data in Excel tracking sheets, keep documentation current in the QMS, and collaborate with Engineering and Production to resolve quality concerns.

Before shift’s end, you’ll confirm labels and documentation on incoming materials and outgoing shipments, tidy work areas to keep them free of clutter, and note opportunities to improve safety and efficiency.

Drive disposition of nonconforming materials in accordance with company processes.

Confirm labeling accuracy for inbound materials and pre-shipment packaging.

Visually assess work areas for compliance with standards.

Inspect received materials for appearance, dimensional accuracy, and performance attributes.

Maintain clean, orderly work spaces.

Recommend and help implement improvements that enhance safety and efficiency.

Partner with Engineering and Production teams to resolve quality-related issues.

Maintain calibration and readiness of test equipment; prepare accurate test data and documentation within the QMS.Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications Associate degree in science/engineering with 2+ years of quality experience (preferred), or a high school diploma/equivalent with 5+ years of quality experience.

Clear communication skills and solid math ability, including unit conversions.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

Collaborative mindset; thrives in team environments.

Hands-on familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and durometers; experience with vision measuring systems is a plus.

Strong attention to detail with effective troubleshooting capability.

Able to read blueprints and apply basic tolerance concepts.

Willingness to work overtime as needed.

High personal integrity and a strong work ethic; able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
