Position Purpose

Under the general supervision of the Director of Transportation, to ensure the safe transportation of students, staff, and others to and from school, residential neighborhoods, and field trips.

Salary and Benefits

$17.53 per hour, 5 hours per day, Eligible for benefits.

The Ravenna School District is seeking bus drivers to safely transport students to and from school and all school related events; comply with federal and state laws, and board of education rules and mandates that pertain to school bus drivers.

• Be a licensed driver at least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma
• Driver's License
• Social Security Card
• Clear FBI/BCI Background check (we can do these here at the office)
• CDL with school bus certificate preferred, or must earn within 3 months of hiring (we provide and pay for training)
• Submit to driving record check, drug testing, background check, and meet physical requirements
• Ability to carry out assigned route on time
• Daily availability and reliability
