Paraprofessional
Carbon County School District One is seeking a qualified candidate to be considered for a special education paraprofessional, serving under direction of a certified staff member. Essential functions include enjoying working with children, assisting in implementing teacher's plans for students in all academic/behavioral/personal areas, maintaining confidentiality of all information concerning students, staff, parent/guardian, using positive verbal and non-verbal communication and interaction skills with working with students and staff, intervening with students at the direction of teacher or administrator in crisis/emergency situations, and performing other duties as assigned by certified staff and/or administrator.
