Paraprofessional
Carbon County School District One is seeking a qualified candidate to be considered for a special education paraprofessional, serving under direction of a certified staff member.
Essential Functions:
- Enjoy working with children
- Assist in implementing teacher's plans for students in all academic/behavioral/personal areas
- Maintains confidentiality of all information concerning students, staff, parent/guardian
- Uses positive verbal and non-verbal communication and interaction skills with working with students and staff
- Intervenes with students at the direction of teacher or administrator in crisis/emergency situations
- Performs other duties as assigned by certified staff and/or administrator
