Victim/Witness Advocate – Carbon County Sheriff’s Office
The Carbon County Sheriff’s Office Victim/Witness Program is seeking a person to work with victims of all crimes.
This position is supported by funds from the WY Office of the Attorney General, Division of Victim Services.
Requirements- Must be flexible as work schedule is determined based upon program needs
- Must be on call as required
- Must maintain high degree of confidentiality
- High School Diploma or GED required
- US citizen
- Valid driver’s license
- 21 years of age
- Work one-on-one with crime victims
- Provide crisis intervention
- Provide emotional support
- Provide emergency financial assistance
- Provide information and notification regarding court process to victims and witnesses of all crime
