Pacifi Corp seeks a Journeyman Lineman to construct, maintain and repair overhead and underground transmission and distribution systems serving customers across the western U.S. In this field-based role, you will install and troubleshoot poles, conductors, transformers and associated equipment, perform safe switching and tagging, and respond to storms and outages to restore power. Working within a safety-focused, highly regulated utility environment, you'll support grid reliability and modernization while collaborating with a skilled crew and advancing your career with a stable, growth-oriented energy leader.
Responsibilities
- Construct, maintain and repair overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission lines
- Install, replace and troubleshoot poles, conductors, transformers and related equipment
- Perform switching, tagging and grounding in accordance with safety and regulatory standards
- Respond to outages, storms and emergencies, restoring power safely and efficiently
- Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks and related line equipment and tools
- Interpret line construction drawings, maps and work orders to plan and execute work
- Conduct inspections, testing and preventive maintenance on lines and equipment
- Apply OSHA, NESC, and company safety rules; participate in tailboards and safety audits
- Collaborate with crews, system operators and contractors to coordinate field work
- Train and mentor apprentices and support company grid modernization and reliability projects
